Colourful Falafel Appetisers
These Falafel Appetisers are simple but effective and you only need 6 ingredients!
This is a low allergen dish that’s vegetarian and gluten free. With simple swaps, such as using our Nut Free Pesto range and substituting the Feta the dish can easily also be Vegan and Nut Free.
- FALAFELS: Begin the process by cooking your falafels
- through your preferred method, whether deep fried or oven baked.
- PREPARE: Prepare your shallots, slicing enough for 2/3 of your total falafels.
- FRY: Fry 1/2 your prepared shallots while your falafels finish.
- SERVE: Place your falafels on their serving tray.
- TOP: 1/3 with Wombat Valley Chunky Pumpkin Pesto, 1/3 with Wombat Valley Chunky Red Pesto and 1/3 with Wombat Valley Beetroot and Feta Dip.
- GARNISH: With fresh shallots, fried shallots and Wombat Valley danish feta.
